My favorite BOY cousin, Noa Kekauoha

We're so bummed we don't live closer to family. Everytime we're in Utah Kai'a loves hanging out with her best bud Noa Kekauoha. They love on each other so much they'll be embarrassed by it when they're older. I couldn't help but send out a tribute to Noa and let him know that Kai'a misses her cousin.

We have way to much fun!

So being a Mom has really changed me so much. Ari and I love being parents. It's absolutely amazing to have this little person who's emotes such pure excitement when you walk into the room. She's always so content and pleasant. We really lucked out because I remember growing up being told by my parents "Just wait till you have a child just like you". Oh geesh! I don't want that day to come and in the mean time I relish that I have a daughter who is so well behaved. It's really quite astounding that she is because we just have way to much fun at her expense.

I pulled into the garage one afternoon and I thought Kai'a was asleep in the back but I heard her giggling back there. I opened the door to take her out of the car and to my surprise she WAS asleep. She had been laughing in her sleep and it was the cutest thing ever. I wonder what she's dreaming about.

Kai'a likes to go to work with Mommy & Daddy all the time. Well actually we just can't afford expensive LA baby sitters and boo hoo we have no family members for last minute baby watching. But look how much Kai'a loves it! She's happy to be standing in front of the NY street Clock Tower on the Universal Lot.

Kai'alani firsts!

So while we were in NY Kai'a got to experience lots of firsts. In New Jersey we noticed her first tooth! That was followed by her first solids in NY which Mommy kind of did selfishly because she wanted Kai'a to last a few more hours while her and Daddy were out to a Broadway show.

Kai'as first GUN. She loves it so much she gave it kisses. Or really she just ate it....

Experience eating solids for the first time. This is what it's like. Mmmm...mmmm..mmmm That tastes good!

MORE NY NEW YORK

So on the way to NY and back Kai'a was such a good girl. She was so fascinated by the view oustide. Isn't she so cute and angelic?

So we think Kai'a's first word was NANO! I know it's far fetched but it was fun whether she did or not.

My first trip to NY for Tia Ariel's B-day

I'm sorry everyone as this is way overdue. All the way back in September Kai'a took her first trip to NY to visit for Auntie Ariel's B-day. She felt it was important to come out just for that! Auntie Donna & Richard were AMAZING hosts and had everything Kai'a could possibly want and need and was gracious enough to let us crash at her lovely home. Kai'a was very comfortable and during our stay fell in love with Donna's baby, Nano. The night we got in Kai'a found Nano so interesting and exciting. We threw Nano a little red chewy toy and when Nano fetched to bring it back to us Kai'a burst out in to hysterical laughter. Again and again every time Nano would come bounding back Kai'a would bust out in giggles. Needless to say it was good fun for everyone. Thanks Donna!

A few weeks ago we captured Kai'a rolling from her back to her stomach. She's mastered the stomach to the back but this was fun to see her try so hard. She really put everything into it.

I can't tell you how much fun it is to watch her explore and see her reactions to things. We're having so much fun and she is constant entertainment for us. I LOVE being a MOM!

The CUTENESS

This was at 2 months when she had to get 4 shots in a row. She was such a good baby. Only cried a little bit, but when we took this picture right after she looks as though she's going to throw a punch to anyone else who comes at her. Mommy's little girl!

We think Kai'a will love this backyard whenever we freakin finish all the yardwork. In the mean time Mommy has made her a baby cabana to watch her parents sweat.

Kai'a likes to sit up now. She can't stand just laying in her bouncer as she needs to see more of the world.
